Innovation + The Better Government Movement
As a Presidential Innovation Fellow, I co-founded The Better Government Movement—a three-year initiative to equip federal leaders with 21st-century innovation skills and community. In partnership with the White House and GSA, we launched Innovation.gov, a public platform featuring toolkits, case studies, and playbooks; ran a 15-week Better Government Bootcamp training 40+ leaders across 34 agencies; and helped grow a grassroots network of 5,000+ innovators. Through storytelling, human-centered design, and co-creation, we shifted government culture from siloed efforts to a thriving peer network rooted in action, empathy, and experimentation.
Healing for Work
Healing for Work is a transformative initiative designed to address the root causes of burnout, disconnection, and emotional fatigue in today’s workplaces. Partnering with mission-driven organizations across sectors, the program equips leaders and teams with tools for emotional intelligence, psychological safety, and culture repair. Through facilitated story circles, coaching, and trauma-informed workshops, Healing for Work helps organizations move from overwork and disillusionment to clarity, care, and collective resilience. The result is a measurable shift toward healthier teams, more trust-filled environments, and sustainable cultures where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
Corporate Action Platform
As Product Strategy Advisor and Co-Facilitator, I partnered with JFF’s Corporate Leadership team to design and launch the Corporate Action Platform—a national initiative to mobilize Fortune 500 employers around equitable workforce transformation. Through a six-month process called Project Slingshot, we helped unify the team’s vision, build scalable infrastructure, and co-create a delivery model that translates strategy into action. Our approach blended human-centered design, Agile development, and Lean Startup principles to create a sustainable, community-driven platform. Today, the Corporate Action Platform is JFF’s flagship employer initiative, supporting over 50 companies with tools, learning labs, and collaborative impact efforts that are reshaping the future of work.
MACH37 Startup Accelerator
As Program Director and Innovation Strategist for MACH37, I helped scale one of the nation’s premier cybersecurity and deep tech startup accelerators. Focused on emerging technologies like AI, quantum computing, and encryption, MACH37 empowered early-stage founders through a 12-week program rooted in Lean Startup methodology, customer discovery, and venture readiness. I led cross-sector ecosystem building, facilitated investor engagement, and supported founder well-being, ensuring that both product innovation and human resilience were at the core of our approach. The accelerator’s impact extended beyond startups, offering a blueprint for how public-private partnerships can drive national innovation and economic security.
Digital Acquisition Accelerator
As a founding team member of the Digital Acquisition Accelerator, I helped launch a first-of-its-kind training and innovation program designed to modernize how the U.S. government buys technology. Partnering with procurement leaders, policy experts, and technologists, we equipped cross-functional agency teams with the tools, mindsets, and playbooks to run faster, more user-centered acquisitions. The Accelerator combined human-centered design, agile procurement, and coaching support to shift outdated contracting approaches into flexible, learning-driven processes. Our work empowered public servants to deliver better outcomes—faster—and sparked a growing community of practice committed to reimagining government acquisition for the digital age.
Creating a Culture of Innovation
As an Innovation Strategist, I’ve helped organizations across sectors create cultures where bold ideas can take root and grow. Whether inside federal agencies, corporate teams, or mission-driven nonprofits, my work focuses on building the conditions for innovation: psychological safety, shared purpose, agile mindsets, and space to experiment. By blending human-centered design, systems thinking, and capacity-building, I’ve guided leaders to move from isolated pilots to integrated innovation practices—embedding creativity and collaboration into the everyday. The result is not just new ideas, but a new way of working: adaptive, inclusive, and resilient.
Below you’ll find a curated selection of projects that reflect the heart of our work: bold ideas, brave leadership, and lasting culture change. From federal innovation labs to burnout recovery programs, each case study offers a glimpse into how we partner with mission-driven teams to experiment, evolve, and build the future of work, together.
